Make Your Own Edibles
Turn your product into cannabutter using this recipe!
It all begins with fat. In this case, a stick of butter.
The first step in the edibles process is to decarboxylate (or '‘decarb’) the product so that the cannabinoids become activated. This allows for the activated cannabinoids to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system and for patients to experience cannabis’ effects.
Cannabis Infused Butter Recipe
Ingredients
2 sticks of butter
1 Nuthera Distillate Dropper
Dosing
With about 900mg of THC in each Distillate Dropper, two sticks of butter will yield approximately 50mg THC/Tablespoon.
Cooking Instructions
Fill a pot with water, bring to a simmer and then turn off heat.
Place Disty Dropper in the warm water and let it sit for up to 10 minutes. DO NOT use a microwave.
While the distillate is warming up, in a separate pot, melt two sticks of cocoa butter on low heat.
Once both ingredients are warm, turn off heat and add distillate to butter and stir until distillate has combined fully with the butter. Allow to cool and solidify.
OPTIONAL STEP! You may decide to portion your infused butter while in its liquid form to prepare for future use in recipes. Try using a silicone ice cube tray to create smaller portions for later use.
After the butter has cooled, you are ready to cook! Please note that some separation is natural. To ensure an even dose, remelt the butter, stir together any separation and use a tablespoon to measure. With about 900mg of THC in each Distillate Dropper, two sticks of butter will yield approximately 50mg THC/Tablespoon.
